⚠️ Important Notice

Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Once your account is deleted, you will lose access to all your data, bookings, and preferences. Please read this page carefully before proceeding.

How to Request Account Deletion

If you wish to delete your Chandni Halls account and associated data, you have two options:

Option 1: Delete Account In-App (Recommended)

1 Open the Chandni Halls app on your mobile device

2 Navigate to Settings (tap the menu icon or profile icon)

3 Select "Account Settings" or "Profile Settings"

4 Tap "Delete Account" at the bottom of the page

5 Confirm your decision by following the on-screen prompts

6 Verify your identity via email confirmation

Option 2: Email Request

If you cannot access the app or prefer to request deletion via email, please contact us:

Your full name (as registered in the app)
Your registered email address
Your registered phone number
Reason for deletion (optional but helpful)

Important: The deletion request must be sent from your registered email address for security verification. Requests from unregistered email addresses will not be processed.

What Data Will Be Deleted

Upon account deletion, the following data will be permanently deleted within 30 days:

What Data Will Be Retained

For legal, accounting, and regulatory compliance purposes, the following data will be retained for a limited period:

Note: Retained data is stored securely and is not accessible through the app or associated with your deleted account. This data is kept solely for compliance with Canadian tax laws, business regulations, and potential legal disputes.

Processing Timeline

Step 1: You submit your deletion request (in-app or via email)

Step 2: We verify your identity via email confirmation (within 1-2 business days)

Step 3: Your account is deactivated immediately after verification

Step 4: Personal data is permanently deleted from our systems within 30 days

Step 5: You receive a confirmation email once deletion is complete

Important Considerations

Pending Bookings: If you have upcoming bookings, you must cancel them before deleting your account. Active bookings will prevent account deletion.
Outstanding Payments: Any outstanding payments or refunds must be settled before account deletion.
Business Owners: If you are a business owner, all your customer data, leads, and menu information will also be deleted. Consider exporting important data before deletion.
No Data Recovery: Once the deletion process is complete, we cannot recover your data. This action is irreversible.
Re-registration: You can create a new account in the future, but it will be treated as a completely new account with no connection to your previous data.

Alternative Options

If you're not ready for permanent deletion, consider these alternatives:

Deactivate Account: Temporarily disable your account without deleting data (contact support)
Update Privacy Settings: Adjust what data is collected and how it's used
Unsubscribe from Marketing: Stop receiving promotional emails while keeping your account
